Controls:
Arrow keys to move and jump
Space to use your grappling hook on the white targets
M or Ctrl to zoom out
R to reset to the nearest checkpoint if you're stuck or if you encounter a nasty bug!

Hey, neat game, a bit more handholding on where to go would have been nice though and each time I found a note, I wasnt sure whether I made progress or whether this is just a dead end.. Also, I managed to soft-lock myself in the blue area xD

Yeah, we would definitely have added some help with navigation with a bit more time. Game jams are so short haha!
Collecting notes is the right way to go, you have to find three of them (one in each area) to unlock the ending.
I'd be really curious to know how you managed that soft-lock! Any way you can always press R to restart the level if you're stuck :-)
Wait, I just replayed that area and I actually have no idea where that happened, lol
